Today I shall finally get back to doing these, kinda weekly.

Question is 

32. My best deal

I would have to say my best deal was my Angelic pretty stuff from Closet Child in Harajuku 

I got 

Angelic Pretty's フェアリーフリルワンピース (fairy Frill One Piece) in Sax

 Angelic Pretty's ビスチェ風Dollジャンパースカート (Bustier Style Doll Jumper Skirt) also in sax

 And Angelic Pretty's リボンカクテルスカート (Ribbon Cocktail Skirt) in wine

I also got a MAM Overskirt and a Baby the Stars Shine Bright rectangle headdress

So what makes this a deal I hear you cry....

I got all this for around 30,000円

which seems like a lot but think about how much I would pay for just one of these in sales coms....Seeing as none of them seems to be around any more...

It helps that I didn't have shipping of course but I still believe it to be a great deal

5.My wardrobe turnover

I don't exactly have a wardrobe turnover.....I wouldn't dare think of selling my clothes really....

I wear all the things I got over the time I have been into lolita, although it isn't much I still wear all of it.

I enjoy my clothes too much to sell them or give them away.

I guess there has been a few pieces I maybe thought of selling but I just don't think they would be wanted or worth selling.

So!

Week 8 question would be

12 Combining other fashions with Lolita

well this is a touchy topic to some people....

I personally don't like a lot of them...some work some really really don't.

Things like punk and lolita work if done right but some things like fandoms and lolita....really don't

Like how "nerd" lolita was a thing a little while ago....

It just doesn't work, the colours and the style of patterns people used just ruined it from being lolita....

Same as dr who lolita and things like that...

If it can stand alone as a lolita outfit without it being just that fandom it can work...I have yet to see it though

I guess that isn't exactly a style but is how I feel about other styles mixed in....a lot just doesn't work with the lolita aesthetic in my opinion.

~Week 8~ What I thought when I got my first real piece of Lolita

Today is the 7th of these challenges....Slowly getting there....

Todays question is
35 What I thought when I got my first real piece of Lolita

I'm not sure.....I guess my major thought was "yay, I've always wanted something like cardcator sakura!"

Along with "wow this is much better made than anything I can get here...and it fits!"

I have a serious problem of no clothes in the UK fit me perfectly like japanese/asian clothes.

I never had a worry about what I would wear with it or how it would look as I didn't exactly know the rules at that time...

So I guess I didn't think too much about it....

Although it was a bodyline peice, I would still call it real lolita, as it wasn't just lolita like off brand.

~Week 7~ 3 trends I wish would come back

So today's question is

11 3 trends I wish would come back

hmmm I am not sure about this one...

 I guess my first would be velveteen...however it pops back here and there every now and then

I just think velveteen and velvet just look so elegant and royal. Also how it is so warm and perfect for winter 

second I would say, frills...I love my frills and I prefer them over print dresses. Frills isn't exactly old but pattern dresses get much more popular over here at the moment compared to some of the more plain dresses brands have made

Finally, Rectangle headdresses..They are lacy and frilly and I just really like them. They aren't heavy like some lolita head dresses are at the moment.

So, I like alot of the older things it seems. This was rather had thinking of things I like that where trends in a way....As I said in the last one It was 5 years ago I started and wasn't really a community person.

~Week 6~ 3 things I wish I was told when I was a new Lolita~

So it had been a long time

Sorry , I have been a little busy and February is so short! It always gets me confused.

This week I shall finally catch up on all the ones I have missed.

First off we have 

15. 3 things I wish I was told when I was a new Lolita..

Now to try and think back 5 years....My memory isn't too good.

I guess the first thing I can think of that I wish I was told early on was that Jumper skirts should be warn with blouses...I didn't know this for about a year..

2nd think I wish I was told was that bodyline petticoats SUCK!

I still have 2 of them, I mainly wear them under my pleated skirts for when I'm not in lolita, Or I wear them over my other petticoat for a bit more poof when I want to be fancy...Or have a heavy skirt/dress.

and Finally, I wish I was told that there probably was some places to go to talk to other lolitas. We are talking about 2009 or so, as far as I know there wasn't much around. I probably wouldn't listen to them..I was young and in that "special snowflake" phase.
