~Bodyline Shoes~

Hey~It has been quite some time since I last posted here.
I guess they are doing boxes again. This is the first time I got boxes. They are very helpful for other things of course.

Todays post is about some shoes I got a few weeks ago.

They came in a typical gray plastic bag.
The was bubble wrapped together for extra padding at least.

I brought 3 pairs and 2 sets of bunny tights.
First are these adorable blown Oxford ankle boots (SHOES272). I have been wearing these the most. They are very comfortable and cute. I got the size 22.5, a little bit tight at first, after a first 2 or 3 wears they are fine.
Next are the cute bow heels in off white (SHOES274). These have to be the most comfortable of all, I wore these for all of last Satuday with almost no foot paint for once. One thing I would say is they wrinkle easy and the bows are a bit wrinkly, nothing you can see from afar
Last are my favourite but disappointingly don't fit me =[ . SHOES298 They are so soft and cute and keep my ankles lovely and warm but they seem to be too small. Although saying 22.5 on the bottom they seem to run very small.
It feels as though my feet are too far forward. I feel these are only too small because of the pointed toe. So be careful when ordering them
And finally the cute bunny tights. One leg says bunny and the other has a face like the cat ones. These however seem a little thin in comparison with the cat version (that I got from ebay).
All the shoes together. I will be ordering another set of the boots in the middle because I just have to wear them, they are just too cute.

once again bodyline is good for cheap pretty good quality shoes that can go with any outfit, lolita or not :]

~Week 5~ How strangers react to my clothes, and how I react to their reactions

This weeks question is:

 44. How strangers react to my clothes, and how I react to their reactions

An interesting question.

Like every lolita outside of Japan I get the normal stares and points and giggles.

Being the only lolita for a good 2 to 3 town radius. I get quite a lot of reactions. Anything from the innocent stare to heckling.

Most if the heckles I get are the general stuff for lolitas "have you lost your sheep?" "it isn't Halloween yet" and the oddest one I got was a bunch of 16-18 year olds singing "Polly put the kettle on"....I really don't know.
Most of the comments come from typical drunk guys who feel it necessary to say something or they come from the teenagers who seem to believe I am younger than them...a great compliment I think.

Now how I react depends on the comment. Most I just don't bother, I stick out enough that I would rather not make a name for myself as well. So most of my reactions are just a sigh and shake of the head and a comment under my breath. If it is someone staring, I generally try to stare back and smile. It seems to confuse people.

These are what I mainly get, I rarely get nice comments or asked for photos (I would love to know why). Of course I do get them for time to time and I reply with a smile a nod and a thank you. Or would pose for photos. I'm not one to get annoyed at people asking for photos as long as they respect I may be doing something.

Bit of a long one today.

For now

~Norwich, Lolita and cake~

On Thursday me and my boyfriend took a long needed trip to Norwich.

It is one of my favourite places to go. Not only a great fabric shop but the best cake shop in my opinion. Although it is a chain shop. It would be my number one to go to for a cute lolita meet up. Delicious cake and a cute cafe too.

I picked my favourite strawberry gateau and decided to try there mille-feuille. There prices are very good for the quality of cake. They are all around £2.50 per a slice. With deals of 5 for £10.There strawberry gateau reminds me of the strawberry cake in Japan. Light but filling and deliciously creamy. They are packed so elegantly and delicately. Is always a shame to open and eat them.

 I wore :
Innocent worlds Bordeaux lace skirt
Innocent World Mook bag
My handmade blouse
and a coat I got a while ago from TK Max.

Shoes I believe are from Tesco as is the beret.

Is a shame it rained and all my hard work into curling my hair went to waste.
