My First Online Closet Child Order

Hello sweeties

Today I would like to share with you my first Closet Child order!

Well first online order.

"What is Closet Child?" I hear you asking...

Well Closet Child is a company that focuses on secondhand items, The one they are most known for over here is the Lolita clothes branch

They also have shops that sell CDs and Vivian Westwood items.

Closet Child are best know for the cheap price for things along with the condition of the clothes.

I first brought from Closet Child when I went to Japan in 2012 (so long ago now )

I went to the shop in Harajuku. It is not only cute on the outside but also inside too

Inside was like a frilly, lacy dream. Tons of dresses from very recent releases to a few years old or so.

They had shoes, bags, blouses, jumperskirts, skirts, onepeices everything and anything you can think you would need for  a Lolita outfit.

The staff was ever so kind, asking if I wanted to try before I brought them and if I found what I wanted.

All the prices was reasonable for such items. Some skirts was £10 and some £80 depending on brand and how new they was. 

I really wish I could go back 

The way Closet Child online works is by taking your order and reserving payment.

Then checking with staff to see if the item is in stock.

As there is few English speaking staff this can be a little while.

It took a few days to get the email saying I got the dress but it can not be helped.

Now onto this new order

I ordered a Baby the Stars Shine Bright onepeice as I will be attending the fan meet this December.

I have always wanted a BabySSB dress however when I was there in 2012 there was nothing that caught my eye.

This time one thing really caught my eye:

The Chiffon Lame dot Dessert one peice

I love chiffon and lace and ribbons so why would I not love this dress.

One thing I was worried about was that this would not be as fancy as the event would feel. However what I hadn't noticed was that not only is the chiffon dotted in texture but it is also covered in sparkly silver glitter dots. They shimmer so much as if it has gems all over it.

It came in a jiffy bag so shipping ends up being fairly cheap. Inside it was folded up and bagged up ever so delicately

It has little ribbons on the side of the skirt and the sleeves giving the silhouette a unique look

It has a subtle cream colour with a white lace

The ribbons are satin with a matt stripe giving a lovely contrast 

Both the lace on the sleeve, front and bottom are soft and delicate giving the overall look a delicate look

The fabric is so soft and delicate

The subtle silver glitter dots are almost invisible until the light caches them

At this moment, I am not sure on how the shape looks

I am planning to get a better, A-line petticoat to fit the shape better

My boyfriend keeps calling it a Belle dress

Saying it looks like Belles ball gown from Beauty and the beast

Can't wait to wear this to Hyper Japan next month 

I loved how fast Closet Child was in sending this

My only disappointment is that parcel force, yet again causing it to be drawn out

Can't wait to use Closet Child again in the future 

Colourful Whipple Set Part 2

I am ever so sorry in my late post

I have been caught up in a few things

I also sadly missed my favourite Japanese event that was this past weekend 

That is for another day

On with the Whipple fun

Todays post is:

Colourful Whipple Set Part 2

This time it is the White cream

 This time the parts are:

Pink Sponge cake

Star Biscuit

House Biscuit

Butter Cookie

Whipple-Chans

Whipple Chocolate Coin

Bird Biscuit

Chocolate Cupcake

White Sponge Cake

Small Chocolate Cup

Waffle Cone

Strawberry Slice

Chocolate Logo Heart

As well as all the gems and beads to make it cute

The first thing to do is to pick out and stick on the Sponge cake wrap

There was so many to pick for only 2 cakes 

I picked to two I thought went best with the over all design

The booklet says to star the sticker on one end then wrap around....

However I find this normally causes the sticker to come out of alignment part way around

I started in the middle and followed the bottom edge around to make sure it was even

 Then did the same with the pink cake

Now they are ready to be decorated

I started with the cake, for the same reason with the waffle in the pink cream part

It seems all the cream has been rather soft in my past sets~

I love the faces of Whipple-chans on this cake

I then did the Bird Biscuit.

I wanted to do all the ones with pink cream fist.

 Next was the rest of the biscuit set

I think the butter cookie came out the best in my opinion

 I really enjoyed doing this cake...

I don't know why.......

It is so simply cute and looks so tasty 

This one has to be my favourite

It looks like some yummy hot chocolate with a topping of cream 

Next I did this cupcake....

It is done with both pink and white cream, with the cute flower piping tip..

I feel it just isn't as nice as the others in this set so far...

Icecream!

It is so simple yet so cute looking.

I find the beads for this one quite interesting too

These ones are unlike ones I've seen in these sets before, they are translucent and sparkle like the gems for the other peices

Lastly I made the Santa to go on top of the chocolate log box

It is so cute!

It took a few attempts to get him to look just how I wanted him to..(why there is so much on my fingers

White cream set done

I feel this set isn't as cute as some of the other ones I've done.

It has it's cute pieces but over all the composition feels a little off to me.
